I am currently a high school student studying Year 11 and my application has successfully been accepted with a program from IVHQ to go and volunteer within childcare in fiji. I will be heading to fiji in mid December for a week. I have been provided by local primary school teachers from my home town, with lots of exciting and cool learning resources that will give the fijian kids an opportunity to learn different things. I have always loved and adored children and inspire to do something along the lines of an early education primary school teacher. This experience will be extremely meaningful to me as I love helping others out, it will be an amazing experience that I will forever cherish. I inspire to do more volunteer work over the years within childcare.
I will be accompanied by my Aunty who has always had the biggest heart for children, she has recently completed a Cert III in early education which will better her experience with the fijian children.
We have both decided to choose fiji as we have visited there before and absolutely adored their culture and would love to help them out in any way possible.
