The best part is how easy it is to change scenery the next day—head to the Cotswolds for postcard-perfect stone villages, the Lake District for lakes and hiking trails, or Cornwall for sea air and cozy fishing harbors.
Another joy is the pub culture: warm lights, a fireplace, local ale, and conversations that turn into a movie-like evening. If you’re craving history and romance, Edinburgh is a must—castle views, narrow streets, and a skyline you won’t forget.
