My Travel Story

Hello. My name is Dávid Kmec, and I come from a small country and an even smaller town. We have a proverb here: "Who is afraid should go into the forest." And I ventured into the dense forest. My journey through life has led me everywhere; first, I wanted to be a soldier, then a professional football player, then an actor. But in the end, it became a passion for film. And that motivates me every day to become a better person, thinking with open eyes. Since the main state of film is America, I decided to take a bold step, to embark on such a long journey to gain acceptance to an American film school. And I succeeded. I got accepted to Columbia College Chicago, and I am proud and incredibly happy about it. I am starting this collection based on this acceptance and the need to raise money so that I, as a person born on the other side of the world, have a chance for an unpredictable and fulfilling life with a portion of new art for film.
