Spring Break Trip To See Uncle w/ Parkinson's
My Travel Story
I am glad you stopped on my campaign to read a bit about it. So here it goes:
A few years ago, my uncle was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (The disease that Michael J Fox has). Every year, he has degraded. We have traveled to Morehead, Kentucky, almost every year to visit him. My wife and 3-year-old daughter have driven or flown to Morehead, Kentucky. Since my wife and I are both teachers, we don't have the luxury of traveling when it's not a significant holiday or break. That means the prices are higher for airfares and car rentals, and since the Lexington Airpot in Kentucky is not a central hub, it does get a bit pricey.
I do not know how much time my uncle has left, but every time we visit, he is "tickled to death" to see us and our daughter.
It would mean the world to me if you could spare some money to get us to Morehead, Kentucky.
