My Travel Story

Hello, my name is Janae. I am a teenager who is now facing homelessness and does not have the resources to provide for myself. Growing up, the events in my childhood eventually led me to be placed in another family's custody. I am now being forced to live somewhere else, so I have submit an application for a bed in a girls' homeless shelter. Being able to live here will allow me to continue high school and live normally. Although I will still be without a family, I will be able to further my own life to one day be successful. However, the process of being admitted or even accepted takes a long time and is never guaranteed. Therefore, I need financial support to be able to provide for myself while waiting to see if I will have a place to stay. Any donation, no matter how small, would make a significant difference in helping me secure a safe place to live and work toward rebuilding my life. Your support would not only provide immediate relief but also help me take the steps I need to move forward and regain my independence. I hope to get back on my feet and have success and love brought into my life. Thank you so much!
