My Travel Story

I have been wishing to study abroad ever since senior year of high school, when I created an entire essay, project, and presentation on the benefits of studying abroad. I always knew studying abroad would be a part of my college experience I just was not sure when or how, and honestly I was a little nervous to get the process started. However, I overcame that fear once I remembered just how beneficial this opportunity truly would be for my personal and professional growth. Studying in Spain would give me the opportunity to practice my spanish speaking skills and further me on my goal to becoming trilingual.

I am a twin and go to school in the city that I grew up in; meaning that I have never had to truly push myself out of my comfort zone and had a built in best friend to walk through life with me, which I am forever grateful for. I do feel as though I have a lot of both personal and professional growing to do and that this experience will give me all the things I could hope for. It is an additional benefit that many future employers will see this studying abroad experience and my language skills as a huge asset to their company.

This is a dream of mine, however as everybody knows, studying abroad can get a little pricey with all of the tiny expenses that add up, not even including big things such as housing and tuition.

Any donations are helpful and will get me one step closer to completely changing my life in Madrid, Spain.
