My Travel Story

For those that know me know that I have a special place in my heart for Guatemala. It is the first place I learned about the lack of healthcare for the simplest care . It's the first place where I learned that girls only get the opportunity to finish 8th grade because they have to marry to help their family. The first place where I realized how important toilet tissue is and all the little things we take for granted.  This year I am embarking on an amazing journey because I am Co Leading a team of 10 to see the beauty of the country as well as the hurts. These trips cost money and this is where we reach out to others and ask for help. They say hurt people hurt people but what about healed people healing people. That is what we are trying to do by offering medical care to those who don't have access to medical and dental. Offering hugs and encouragement to people who desperately want it and need it. Help me get my team of 10 to this amazing experience. No dollar is  missed or unimportant.
