We are Raising money for the Elephants in Chiang Mai, Thailand. There are around 2-3000 wild elephants in Thailand. Asian Elephants are an endangered species. Over 60% of the population of Elephants in Thailand are used for Tourism where baby elephants are beaten, pierced with sharp bull-hooks and often malnourished. With the population decreasing, many locals are using elephants to benefit themselves with Elephant riding which is something that most people are against. The Elephant sanctuary located 45 minutes from Chiang mai, is home to over Thirty elephants in which they care for on a daily basis, by feeding them, bathing them in rivers and providing a safe environment for them away from Poachers. They rely on donations and Volunteers to keep the Sanctuary Running, they also are home to stray Cats and Dogs. Any donations are welcome, no matter how small, we are looking to hit this Target withing a Two-Three month Set target. Thank you in advance for any donations and your time in reading this story!
