My Travel Story

Hey there!
Thanks for taking the time in visiting my fundraiser!

I'm trying to raise funds for my move to Australia in Feb. Due to covid, life here is...impossible, I lost my job due to covid, I'm not living, I'm just surving and I'm on the brink of failure, in this small NZ town, there's no work, nowhere to go and no life here, NZ gets a lot of praise and attention, but it's not all it's cracked up to be, housing prices are ridiculously expensive (I pay $200 a week for a single room, not including bills), everything is expensive to the point I live on plain rice and beans, its horrible.
I don't want this life for me, I want my life to mean something, I want to strive to be the most that I can be, to live, and that's why I've made this fundraiser, to help me get those steps out the door!

Since Feb of 2020 I had set a plan to move to Australia, volunteer at the Australia Zoo and look into Enviromental/Animal stuides, to try and make a life and a career out of it, but that had to be put on hold because of the pandemic, but now I'm able to go and I've done what I need to do to get that future career in motion, I applied for study in Feb, set up an interview with the zoo and now I just need help getting me there to make sure I'm able to kickstart this goal of mine.

I know there are many other worthy and more important charities out there that need the help and I know it's a long shot, but I need to try, my life hasn't been the best, I've never been given the opportunity to shine.
I want to help save the environment, help those endangered animals, I just want to do my part in saving this planet.

So this fundraiser means the world to me, you'd be doing more than just helping me, you'll be saving me, so if you donate anything, honestly, from the bottom of my heart, I am and will be forever grateful. I will do my part in paying it forward when I'm able to, I just want the world to be a better place and I feel that generosity, gratefulness and gratitude goes a long way and more people need to have it.

The goal amount is just what I need to get me started over there, so it's not an exact amount but it's what will get me up and running. All funds raised will go towards getting me to Australia, finding me somewhere to live, get me the essential things I need (to live and to study) to hold me over until I'm able to get a Tax number (which could take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to get) so that I'm able to work (which there is plenty of over there) every single cent is spent wisely and only on the important things.
