My Travel Story

by: Gianni Tenaglia Start Date: Feb 26, 2017 - End Date: Jun 23, 2017
Studying abroad right after my freshman year will open a whole new door for my oppurtunities in education. This will become an experience that will be with me throughout the rest of my college career. Experiencing a culture from my family descent is an extremely cherishing oppurtunity for me as I will be able to learn more about my own origin. Italy is a place of much interest and importance to myself as I have heard so much about it and how my ancestors migrated from it to the U.S. I will be studying and learning the Italian language and studying Renaissance Art history all while visiting prestigous landmarks such as the Sistine Chapel. I will be earning credits toward my degree with these classes in addition to an international experience. As of now, this oppurtunity is tremendous for me since I am just finishing up my freshman year at ASU and still have so much to do with my education and with this trip, I will be more than prepared to triumph over future academic studies and diversity.
