My Travel Story

live in the U.K right now, I’ve been in foster care from the age of 4 years old, and I’ve never really known what it felt like to have a real family. Growing up was difficult enough, until I found who my family was. I’m an American citizen by blood and passport, yet I’ve never been back to the U.S since I was 2 and a half years old. I’ve never met my dad, my grandparents, my cousins, or my aunts and uncles. Since covid especially, it’s been a struggle for me, now age 18, to find work after college, as most places are closed, and my earning potential is extremely limited. My life hasn’t been the easiest I must say, but if meeting my true family can help me start fresh, maybe I will find myself in a new light.
