Help me travel South-America all by myself!
My Travel Story
My name is Hannah and I am currently traveling through south america all by myself. Before I started my trip I had just finished school and like many, I wasn't quiet sure what to study yet.
Traveling has always been a dream for me, I never get home sick and love new adventures.
I decided that I really wanted to see south america, because it is very diverse and still quiet connected through a common language, which is spanish. I had no knowledge of spanish when I jumped into the plane on July 2nd 2023. Since than I have been working daily on becoming a better spanish speaker.
Along my travels I have picked up many new ideas, habits and skills, that have benefitted me, in my growth, to become the woman I want to become.
A peruvian friend of mine, that I met along the way said, that it was my journey to becoming a "pocahontas".
While I travel I volunteer and love to help on farms or in the hospitality industry. I enjoy physical work, it shows me how much I am capable of and the results at the end are always a great motivation. I grew up on a little farm and have always been pationed about plants and animals, so working in different or maybe more ecological ways here in South america is a great way to learn.
I have also learned alot about the different cultures through food. In Colombia I was a sous-chef in a kitchen. Cooking for guests of a lodging business in an open kitchen and learning about the service around them, had a great impact on me.
I take my travel step by step and try to plan everything as early as possible, even though that is often hard to do here.
I would be very happy about a little support to make new experiences affordable for me.
Thank you very much in advance
Hannah
