Hello everyone,

My name is Isabel Coelho, and I am reaching out with a heartfelt request to help my daughters and me take a healing family trip. This journey means more than just travel—it’s about reconnecting, remembering, and finding peace after loss.

In 2021, my oldest son, Tony, passed away at just 21 years old. Our last family trip together was in July 2020, celebrating the birthdays of my two oldest children, Tony and Ariel, who were born exactly five years apart. Since his passing, we have not had the opportunity to travel, and life has been full of challenges.

I would love to take my daughters (ages 20 and 12) back to the mountains in Mammoth, as well as other national parks. Mammoth was the place where we last traveled as a complete family. Returning to that space will allow us to relive beautiful memories while also creating new ones in honor of Tony. This trip is not just a getaway—it’s a step toward healing, a way to reconnect with nature, and an opportunity for my daughters to find peace in a place that once brought us so much joy.

Our ultimate goal is to visit all the national parks in the USA, spreading a little of Tony’s ashes in each one so that he will always be a part of nature. He loved the outdoors, being a free spirit, and embracing the beauty of the world. This journey will allow us to keep his adventurous spirit alive, knowing that he will forever be present in the places he would have loved to explore.

Along the way, we also hope to learn more about the history of these incredible places and give back by volunteering where we can. This trip is not just about remembrance—it’s about appreciating the beauty of our world, learning from it, and contributing to the preservation of the places that meant so much to Tony and so many others.

Any support you can offer will go directly toward making this trip possible—covering travel costs, lodging, and expenses for a meaningful and therapeutic experience. Even if you are unable to donate, sharing our story would mean the world to us.

Thank you for your kindness, support, and for helping us turn grief into a journey of healing, love, and giving back.

With gratitude,

Isabel Coelho
