My name is Socrates. I'm 16 years old (turning 17 on 19 May) and I'm from Ndola, Zambia. Football is my life — it's not just a game to me, it's my way out, my way up, and my way to one day make my family and country proud.

For years I've trained hard with the main team at Greenfield Soccer Academy (Verde Campo) in the FAZ Division 3 league (Ndola zone, Copperbelt). I'm 193cm tall, fast, two-footed, and versatile — I play centre forward, right wing, left wing, and attacking mid. I'm a clinical finisher, strong in the air, and one of the quickest players in my group. I've put in over 1,710 competitive match minutes in the past, but this season I haven't played a single minute — not even off the bench. Despite the team being owned by my aunties, opportunities have dried up completely.

That hasn't stopped me. It has only made me hungrier.

Now I have a real chance to change everything.

RD Global Sports in Spain has invited me to join their residential academy in Gran Canaria for a 3-month program: daily high-level training, full-board accommodation and meals, transport, trials with partner Spanish clubs, and the chance to prove myself in the Spanish football system — the same system that shaped legends like Messi, Iniesta, and Xavi.

This is more than a trip. It's the first real step toward becoming a professional footballer. If I perform, it could open doors to club contracts, scouts, and a future in Europe. It would give me the tactical intelligence, technical finesse, and match exposure I can't get here right now.

The all-inclusive cost is €4,500 for 3 months — a huge amount for my family. That's why I'm asking for your help. Every donation — K50, K200, K1,000 or more — brings me closer to Spain.
