I have been very hesitant to ask for any help but as Christmas gets closer I am becoming desperate. I am a single mother of two boys. I do not receive child support from their fathers, still waiting on my recovery rebate for my stimulus checks, I don't receive the advance child tax credit, I applied for families first cash assistance over a month ago and continue to get the run around when I call to check on it. I'm not currently working due to no vehicle and being on the brink of homelessness. I just want to be able to buy my boys a few gifts for Christmas so all of our faith isn't lost. My biggest fear is them waking up Christmas morning go no gifts under the tree because I have no way to buy any. They still believe in Santa and I can not imagine what their thoughts would be to wake up and see that Santa didn't come to our house. anything is appreciated even just a prayer for us that things start looking up. Thank you.
