PayPal.me/Ericmayibongwe. My name is Eric Mayibongwe Ngwenya, I'm 23 of age. I live in Botswana but I am a Zimbabwean. I am kindly asking for your help due to the reason I am going to mention in my story below.

I grew up in village with my grandmother only on my martenal side. My father left us when I was young and I couldn't recognise how he was until he showed up when I was 21. My mother left me at a younger age too to search for greener pastures in Botswana. She spent her entire years in Botswana trying to make us sleep with full stomach and showing up in the village once in 2 years. Whenever she visited us she never spent a week with us because the work will be calling.

I grew up with my granny and my other siblings and we were too many in our household and we could not plough enough to survive on our own due to low rainfall. Our grandmother gave everything it took for us to go to school but only few of us managed to get to secondary level. Others did and failed and from the entire family, I'm the only one who managed to reach secondary level and got great results. I did very well in my ordinary level studies in 2018 and I proceeded to Advanced level where I got average results and I need to pursue the dream of being a doctor. My mother struggled with my Advanced level education because it was too expensive and up to now I still owe the school 100USD. She couldn't take me to university and I tried hustling to raise money for my university and because of how expensive it is, I tried and I have been failing though I haven't gave up yet.

I only gave up with my dream after I moved to search for greener pastures in Botswana 3 years ago. I didn't give up my dream because of easy reasons. I realised that my fellow Zimbabweans are abused a lot because our situation in my home country.

We're abused because they give us a better life than what we could get in our country. Their kids abuse us and calling us stupid yet we're breadwinners and heads of many families. I have been noticing this act for a very long time until I realised that being a doctor will make me save few people in this world. Ever since I came here I have been doing farming (Horticulture) which I realised that it can feed thousands of people if invested enough. I changed the dream of becoming a doctor to become a farmer who wants to feed the whole world.

I have been trying to save money for this project but our family problems rises and I find myself sending money for my grandmother who trained me to become what I am right now. I have been sending her money with my younger brother brother who is 17. We're the only ones who are taking care of our grandmother right now yet in our family we're more than 10 people who are earning money monthly.

I don't know why others are no longer supporting our grandmother and I don't blame them since they have their own reasons. Our family is separated right now and I, my mother, my other 2 brothers the one I mentioned in paragraph above. I'm the first born in my mother and we're 3 boys from different fathers. My 17 year old brother could not even reach ordinary level due to financial problems and he's with me in Botswana right now. I'm trying to take him back to school whenever I get the money so that he can be able to read and write properly.

My other younger brother is doing grade 2 in Botswana after my mother got married in Botswana. All of my younger brothers are now officially Botswana citizens and I'm the only one left aside but that is not the case since I can issue the residence permit if I have money. They need me in Botswana too since I'm the only one who have knowledge to run business.

Before my mother got married here, she came to me to tell me that she's getting married in Botswana and I was happy for her with the thoughts of also changing residence to Botswana and get access to free tertiary education. That was just a fairy tale because they said I'm above 18 years so I cannot be a Botswana resident under my mother who got married in Botswana.

This was a huge blow but it didn't stop me from anything since I can buy residency with money. My mother has been investing in her marriage with my stepfather. They have bought a land to start pig farming but they have not got anywhere because of financial issues. I am also pushing on my side too but it hasn't been easy with my granny always sick.

This idea of doing farming came to me as a solution to my fellow Zimbabweans who are abused in Botswana and I will be offering jobs and helping them archive their goals. I wanted to start with one farm and open many branches as time goes on because I'm very sure this business is profitable. In 5 years I want to open other branches in my home country and help my fellows in South Africa who are killed for hustling there. I want to help as many people as I can in the world and I understand that it's not only in Zimbabwe where people are suffering and many places so I want to be there for those who are needy.

I really hope you will consider my request.

Your faithfully,

Eric Mayibongwe Ngwenya.
