Volunteering in a “different world” with children is an experience that can be life-changing for myself, along with the children I would work with. I can give the children the love and attention they may have never felt. Most of these children have suffered severe hardships in their lives, so simply taking time to play with them, teach them new things, or witness there lives will make a difference in these children’s lives along with mine.
