The last time I drove to Alaska, I almost died. This experience sparked a passion for storytelling that had been dormant since I was a child. I've written a screenplay based on my experiences and all my fears, and I've decided to take a trip back to Alaska to get really specific about the details in my story. 

Being able to take this trip will not only help me to edit my story to feel more authentic to my past experience, I am also hoping to find healing along the way. I learned the precious and fleeting nature of life on my last trip, and I hope to capture that essence so I can share it through my art. I plan to film along the way using my iPhone for some immersive b-roll type shots.
