I have lived my whole life trapped in Kansas City, Missouri. I was forced to move here after six days of being alive and have been here since. I dream of moving to NYC so I can finally be who I want in a new city full of opportunities, professional, and otherwise, away from the prying judgemental eyes of the right-wing populace of KCMO. If anyone is kind enough to help me out with advice for thriving in NYC or financial help to help bolster my cushion fund until I am able to find work, I would greatly appreciate it. If you're left-wing and grew up in a red state I hope you understand my struggle. Any advice or otherwise helps greatly. Thanks again!
