My Travel Story

I am an aspiring musical theatre professional and a voice major in my first year of college and have been dancing since I was four years old. Dance is an integral part of my identity as well as my future career and has allowed me to build relationships with dancers, teachers, and fellow performers that have shaped who I am and how I influence those around me. This once in a lifetime study abroad trip is the culmination of five years of training, dancing, and fundraising for the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of audience members across Europe, and experience the beauty and culture of the people and places we will see. This trip is incredibly meaningful for me personally because of the emotional impact dance has on me. However, it will also allow me to increase my professional ability in a field I am so passionate about, as well as build important networking connections for me as a performer and dancer specifically.
