My Travel Story

Hello, and thank you for visiting my page!

My name is Daylyn and I am an undergraduate student seeking aid to study abroad in Europe for J-Term of 2022, where I will experience music and various other arts in a whole new way. Traveling to Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic, I will be able to accomplish three main things: Understand music from a new cultural context, gather materials and experience for my degree, and follow in the footsteps of my mother, who took a very similar trip when she was about my age! I would love to experience some of the wonders that she did as I go on my first ever study abroad trip.

Being able to visit these countries will allow me to expand my views on the world and myself, all while using music and art as a medium to do so. It will allow me with incredible opportunities to better my musicality and my poetry (did I mention I am an English major with minors in Music?) that will improve both personal and educational projects that I am pursuing.
