Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in one of the world's most vibrant and incredible countries? Join me in giving to some of the most vulnerable children of our society on a trip that promises to not only help improve the lives of these children, but also opens up a whole new perspective of this beautiful planet we all call home. I am currently a college freshman majoring in political science, with the hope to become a diplomat in the future. It is my life's passion to create a change in the world and to experience all different walks of life to gain a better sense of unity with all people. I believe we are all equal and I am striving to do my part in making the world a better place, even if it's just by volunteering abroad. A trip like this would allow me to gain work and life experience. I chose India because of the richness of the culture, and the warmth of it's people. India holds a large chunk of our world's population, and therefore it's a country that is faced with some disadvantages. The people of India are such warm, loving people so it hurts me to see such beautiful human beings struggle because of the lack of opportunities that comes with having such an overpopulated country. Coming from Egypt myself, I have experience with seeing children who sadly do not have the same opportunities coming from poverty, and so it is easy for me to empathize with India and by going on this trip, I am hoping to further understand the value of gratitude, family, and the importance of never taking anything for granted. I believe that children are our world's most precious beings and they are our future, so creating a better chance for them now, will ultimately lead our world to be changed for the better.
