Hello Everyone!! I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Zambia for 30 days with Baylor Law. While there, I will help UP Zambia to serve incarcerated juveniles and advocate for their rights and needs.

This summer internship will provide me with experience and necessary skills that I will take into my career as an attorney. Throughout my time in Zambia, I will provide legal aid and help attorneys as they advocate for a restorative justice system that protects vulnerable juveniles. Aside from assisting with legal needs, my peers and I will also be social support to these juveniles by aiding in their physical needs and support while they are in prison.

I cannot wait to learn from some of the best, most experienced attorneys as we all do a small part in helping these children on their path. This is essential work as every child deserves to be well represented throughout their time within the legal system.
