Hello! My name is Britney Mancheno, and I am a senior at John Jay College right now. This summer, John Jay and I have the privilege to visit Paris, France. Opportunities like these are only seen in movies and in my dreams as a first-generation college student! I put a lot of effort into my profession, and John Jay has recognized this with various academic distinctions and achievements. My home education has equipped me for my career working with young people, changing one mindset at a time. When I enter a new culture and environment in France, my knowledge will only increase.

I want to be a strong leader in my community.  I'll be attending leadership and communication classes while my stay at CIEE Paris.

I wish to contribute to my parents' goal of seeing their daughter complete her college degree in Paris.
