My Travel Story

Hey everyone!

We feel very blessed to have the chance to go abroad to volunteer/intern with WOUGNET (Women of Uganda Network) for 3 months this summer. This experience will be lifechanging for us in so many ways, and we will have the opportunity to gain experience that will come hand in hand with our own different university degrees. The 3 of us are very passionate about women's rights, and feel that this internship will be eye opening in terms of work that can be done in the field, but also in terms of cultural awareness.
We chose WOUGNET because of our passion for defending women's rights, but also because Uganda has a reputation of being the Pearl of Africa, not only for it's natural beauty, but for it's cultures and people.

As funding is always hard to get, and because it's an unpaid internship/volunteering, we need your support, even if it's a small amount! You can make a difference in helping us make this experience as smooth as it can be, but also help us raise funds so we can help the community directly.
