My Travel Story

Few year ago I did a voluntery work for my church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). I was sent to Ghana(a country in West Africa). During my service, I gained more knowledge about cultural and in my career path, I was able to know more about international politics. I also learnt that some people are not priviledge like many of us in the developed countries and that was where my interest of doing another voluntery service started from. 

I want to go back and lift the feeble knees, expecially children who do not have parents and are finding it difficult to eat, shelter and more. Education is one of tje key to success, I want to try my best to imrove their educational life and help them to feel loved.

My passion has grown overtime even during my first visit and has grown more as I continue to reflect the love they showed me, they made me know that even in the misdt of nothing, they find peace and happiness in nature and we are like a family and it's important they see me again.

I believe I didn't finish my job on my last visit because there are many things I planned to do for them but couldn't do due to financial reasons and support. I am also working with some of the natives and see how best they can imporve the community, so I want to go there again to see how far they've gone and also support them.

I feel so happy when someone from the other side is equal to me. Equality is what I value so much because if we are created by the same God, then life should be equal to both of us and that is why this is so meaningful to me.
