This study abroad opportunity would greatly benefit me in my future career and help me grow as a person. I am currently studying Foreign Languages / East Asian Studies and I hope to later become a translator or work in an area of international relations. I have always been interested in various cultures and languages and this trip to Indonesia would gift me with the hands-on experience and connections to further my education and get me to where I strive to be in life. Now the courses I would be taking are Multicultural Communication and International Relations integrated with various activities to learn about the ways of life in Indonesia and hands-on work. Though the problem is funding. I am a college student working part-time earning minimum wage and I can only put aside $1,000 for the trip. I still need $3,000 more and I need to pay a certain amount of money every two weeks. I don't earn enough from work to pay the amount asked every two weeks. I also can't ask for help from family members since this past year my mom and dad were presented with health problems and we are currently struggling to pay off hospital bills. I am grateful for even the smallest amount you can give. Please help me to further my education in Indonesia.
