People wrongly think that travel is
out of reach, dangerous, unaffordable and unrealistic. I yet believe Travel is the most enriching, educative and freeing experience. I think it should mandatory to graduate to let youngsters discover at least 3 destinations and move there.
My goal is to inspire people to travel more by showcasing countries and culture in a travel serie and blog.

My name is Kazumi Aure Pradal, since young I could never fit in anything I did and failed many of my educational aspiration.
I first left at 14 years old to go to high school in Japan alone. Since then I moved in few countries as I had learned to speak 9 languages which would allow me to save money.

I started studying cinema at UCLA from where I dropped out in order to do this project.

I'd like to show people about the lesser known places in the lesser and most known countries. While introducing to cultures, different mentality, arts and traditions. I'd like to break people fear of traveling abroad far from our comfort zone. I'd like to show people how much one travel can impact them or their children.
And that it doesn't need to be expensive.
Those I cannot convert to travelism I'd like to share with them culture and hidden landscape.

Neighbor Traveler is what I would do mid way between a travel vlog, a documentary and travel serie dedicated to the countries.
While we would help different local businesses to develop their communication through branding, website or social media optimization.

I'd like to open the world eyes on new destinations and travel. While also opening these destination to the others.

I currently have a team 2 producers, 1 DOP (senior cameraman), 1 script, 3 journalists (writing articles about culture, how to move in, come as international student, travel and help find subject and experience for the serie), 2 video editors, 1 designer and camera assistant,1 social media marketing manager and 1 web developer 

What would be the destinations for the first year :
Malaysia - Singapore - Brunei
Algeria - Morocco -  Portugal - Spain
France - Switzerland - Italy - Monaco - Malta 
Greece - Albania - Croatia

P1 - P3 mostly done roadtripping
Accomodation would vary on if we can get partnership with hotels but would include hostels, home stays or staying with locals such as couchsurfing and indegenious tribes (malaysia) or small villages locals, aswell as camping.
P4 small sailship (already possessed) will be the main transportation 
We will sleep many nights in the boat and will also probably stay in hotels when we get partnerships.
(usually accommodation partnerships are non paid)

Why am I looking for funds ?
I am an experienced traveler, but I usually move in the country and live like a local alone. As I'm from Europe and lived in California usually I move to poorer country and save money.

I'm not experienced enough as a filmmaker and need a professional team to make this project work.
My team is deeply involved, they pay for their initial flight and for their own food while bringing their equipment. Those who will work remotely, accepted to work for very little or free.

Yet traveling with a crew between destinations is quite expensive and getting a fixer for each country.

If you cannot help by funds and would yet be interested in participating in Neighbor Traveler whether with a sharing your skills set or expertise or even just sharing information about your own culture and country.

I hope some of you would find my project as inspiring. I'd like to inspire people to travel more and be less judgmental on countries and cultures.
Algeria as little tourism due to a lack of up to date informations, still have an image of the 80-90's terrorist attacks. Malaysia and Albania are amazing countries with really little tourism because not so known or vlogged about.
France is so popular yet there is so much more to see than known. Most people just visit Paris which is far from being the best city.
