My Travel Story

Hello darlings - forgive the strange request: I know it's not exactly globetrotting, just yet (that comes later), but for now I just need to get out of the house.

There are buses, there are trains - there are even taxis, boats and helicopters.  But, you know, these are powered by other people - and I wouldn't say no to a large dollop of indepenence.  But you see, I'm big and heay vy and ageing and groaning with dull aches, so too much wagging like a dog's tail and I'll be reminded daily for weeks.  So I need personal transportation.

Alas, alack and, well, fooey, the powers that be have suspended my driving licence because of sleep apnoea, so the vehicle I seek would need to be something like an electric trike that wouldn't be overwhelmed by being ridden by an elephant, so at least I can get some exercise in and have at least a slim chance of kicking some sense into my metabolism.  Once I've done that, then maybe I can think about broadening my horizons.
