My Travel Story

Hi everyone! I am Sara, I am 23 years old and I am graduating in management of government and international organizations at Bocconi University in Milan.
I was selected for a fundraising internship at The Bookery, a non-profit organizations which sets up school libraries in South Africa and trains librarians.
I am really excited for this opportunity, as I would help this amazing organization get the funds it needs to sustain its activities. This is very important for The Bookery because Covid had a negative impact on the level of resources they get from donors.
My work will definitely be more effective if I am in Cape Town, witnessing the work of the organization and working with the incredible team that makes it all possible.
