I have had a lot of "downs" in life lately resulting in the fact that I most likely am not going to be able to attend my brother's fiancé's bridal shower. I am a bridesmaid and feel horrible that I'm not going to be there. I'm supposed to be there! She is also doing a few bachelorette activities. My brother and his fiancé live in Austin TX and my children, the rest of my family, and I are in Buffalo NY. I barely get to see my little brother. I'm the oldest sister and ever since my mother died, I've kind of been "Mom" as well. I feel so guilty that life is not allowing me to be there for them and this celebration. So, I am here asking total strangers to help me.
