My Travel Story

I'm a Sophomore at the University of Colorado Boulder (Go Buffs!). I'm majoring in Psychology, minoring in Sociology, and working to get a Certificate in Public Health as well as Care, Health, and Resilience. I'm currently working as a Assistant for Psychological Statistics (last semester for General Psychology 1001) and interning at a trauma and abuse center for children focusing on care and advocacy! I am planning to study abroad for 7 weeks this summer in Stockholm and Copenhagen through DIS Abroad, that also includes two, week long study trips to Zurich and Vienna for hands on application and exposure to material! I will be studying European Clinical Psychology and Lifespan Psychology, which are my two main passions in psychology and will aid in the completion of my undergraduate career. I will also be documenting my trip through 35mm black and white film and digital photography, centered on European architecture, urban landscape, and portraiture. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will expose me to many different cultures, cities, and new concepts/perspectives in psychology. I'm a passionate and dedicated student, looking to expand her horizons and wealth of knowledge while abroad this summer!
