Hello all, Welcome to our campaign, this summer, I’ll be working on a community project in the Himalayas with the help of experts, travel volunteers, and locals. We aim to eventually reduce homelessness by changing the perception of the houses we live in which not only provide shelter but also are carbon-negative and can be built by anyone with little training. We will be crafting a space that reflects the beauty of the surrounding landscape – trees, caves, lakes, and mountains all in one breathtaking design.

Vision:

Our Vision is to demonstrate solar passive and energy-efficient designs that are aesthetically pleasing and cost very little by using locally sourced materials like on-site soil, agricultural and animal waste, wood, and scrap windows. This project also aims to build a community of like-minded people who want to contribute to the planet one house at a time.

Our space won't just be any other building; it will showcase local artistry. We'll display the craftsmanship of local artisans, celebrating their talent and creativity. More than just a place to live, we envision our project as a tourist destination that inspires others to embrace sustainable living practices.

Our goal is inclusivity – everyone, regardless of their background or means, can join us in this endeavor and fill the air with laughter, joy and their creativity.

Impact:

- Carbon-Negative Construction: By capturing carbon dioxide within the walls of our cob house and in the plant architecture as planned, we'll offset emissions and contribute to mitigating climate change.

- Sustainable Practices: Our project promotes sustainable living by showcasing the potential of natural building materials and solar passive design principles.

- Empowering the Community: Through collaboration and knowledge-sharing, we'll empower individuals to take action towards a more sustainable future. Together, we'll build homes that seamlessly blend with nature without imposing a cost on Nature itself.
