English, Education, and Exploration!
My Travel Story
Currently only 58% of the people living in Nepal are literate, and the English education for students is poor, though English skills are necessary for them to succeed outside of their villages. Trek to Teach is a non-profit organization that sends teachers (like me) to these villages to live alongside students and help them grow in their English speaking abilities. While I am there, I hope to extend joy and love to the community, and I hope to make the learning experience fun and easy for my students.
In order to participate in this program, I need to raise $3,500 (USD). This money will pay for my teaching expenses, my travel to Annapurna, and my basic living expenses during my stay in Nepal. Trek To Teach will also use some of this money to pay for curriculum materials and teaching supplies. I would truly appreciate any financial support you would be able to contribute to help make this experience possible.
Thank you so much for your investment in my life and in the lives of my students!
