As a first-generation teacher and new drama educator, this trip to London will be life-changing. Experiencing live theatre—especially in Shakespeare’s homeland—will deepen my understanding of the art I teach and bring fresh, inspiring practices back to my students. I’m passionate about making theatre accessible and exciting, especially for students who’ve never seen a stage. Visiting iconic theatres and participating in workshops will give me tools to create inclusive, dynamic classroom experiences. This is my first time traveling, and pursuing this dream is not just for me—it's for every student who deserves to see themselves in the stories we tell.
