My Travel Story

Photography has always been a passion of mine. I wished to one day become a photographer for National Geographic and travel the world while getting to do what I loved: tell stories. I knew what I wanted, but I just didn't know how I wanted to get there. I live in a family of ten with seven siblings. Money has always been an issue. The practical thing was to go to community college first becuase we needed every cent for the five to follow. If I could only do one thing in this life, I would travel the world. With scheduling for my senior year, everything that's going on in the world, and the passing of the dog that saved me from myself, I felt lost. I no longer knew if photography was what I wanted to persue. I didn't think I was ready to embark on the journey called life by going to college and then staring my career. I felt like I was missing something. I wish to take this gap year to find myself, to find my calling. I've since realized that life is too short to put your dreams on hold, so I wish to honor my angel my doing what I've always said I wanted to do: see the world.
