My Travel Story

In eigth grade I decided to go to a international high school where they there offered a trip to Germany. I instantly fell in love with the idea of leaving the country and meeting new people, learning a new language, and experiencing a new culture. After my first trip to Germany after my Sophomore year of high school I decided I had to go back again to see my friends. After my senior year I made my way back to Germany for three weeks during the summer. I made it a point to myself that my journey of traveling was not going to end in Germany so my first visit to the admission building at Wisconsin Lutheran College in the beginning of my Freshman year, I walked straight up the stairs to visit the study abroad advisor. After months of deciding what country and school to pick, I have my heart set on the University of Westminster in London. Although London is not a rare place to go, I continue to see the beauty in not only the city but the people who have already been in contact with me. The classes and the programs offered here just alone have already made a huge impact on my life. I am so excited to share my journey with everyone during my semester in London.

  • Application Done!!

    Hello all,
    I have successfully finished my application for studying abroad and now I am just patiently (not really) waiting to hear from the school to find out where I will live and when I will depart from America. I have chosen what classes to take while in London and while I continue to be asked what I will be studying there, I will not be studying nursing there. As cool as that would be, studying abroad is a little different than attending a college here in America. I chose a creative writing in London class, a crime and psychology class, and either history in London or Fashion in London. So what I will be essentially studying while abroad will just be gen eds. I am only taking three courses so I will have time to experience the culture and my time there.
