My Travel Story

Our trip to Ghana conists of volunteering in order to make a child's life better in terms of education. We will be going for 13 nights to help build classrooms or become a teaching assistant for the time we spend there.

The schools in Ghana that African Adventures work with do not receive enough government funding to allow them to maintain their facilities. We will be volunteering in the Volta region, where many children do not go to school at an early age; instead they help their parents with agricultural duties. Our aim as a group as well as African Adventures themselves is to assist with enhancing what the schools have to offer, in order to encourage more children to attend school earlier.

I am hoping to fundraise £2000 as this trip is for an amazing, life changing cause for both the children in Ghana and the people volunteering. All donations are appreciated!
