My Travel Story

Hi! I'm Athirah :D I'm 18 years old & a college student.

Studying abroad has always been my biggest dream. I never really got the chance to do it. In 2020, I applied for the AFS exchange programme to the United States. Unfortunately, it got cancelled due to Covid-19. I was a bit disappointed since it could be one golden opportunity to turn me into a better person with all the experiences and knowledge I would gain by joining the programme.

On the other hand, I managed to get straight A's for the National Exams for all senior/ high school students. So, I applied for a few scholarships after my high school years. But, again, unfortunately, I was not chosen for any of the scholarships.

By joining this programme, I am determined to obtain new experiences & knowledge in the United States. I will also be able to get to know more people & the cultures! Moreover, this programme could help me enhance myself in many aspects and may be a contributing factor that help me to attend my dream school next year!

Last but not least, I have always wanted to contribute to the community. By doing this, I could help the community in various ways!
