My Travel Story

Hello! I am trying to raise money to go on a medical intership in Morocco. I plan to go to Morocco for four weeks for the month of June.
I am a nursing major in college and I am trying to get hands on experience. The summer of 2018 was when I first went to study abroad and I loved it! I got a couple credits out of the way for my prerequisite courses. Now, I would like to actually make use of the skills that I have been learning in the nursing program. These trips will provide unique learning opportunities for me such as comparing and contrasting the hospitals and clinics from those nations to the United States of America, to improve my cultural competency, apply my expertise from school and learn to accommodate to other healthcare systems, and especially become open minded and learn to be patient with people of different backgrounds.
Moreover, the program in Morocco has provided an internship geared towards maternity, which is the field that I am passionate about. I will have learned the fundamental skills this semester for obstetrics and apply them to my study abroad trip in Morocco, coming fresh out of the year with these skills. I will be able to learn how mothers of different cultures deal with momentous times and maintain that open mind when I come back to the United State. Once I graduate, I hope to become an OB nurse.
The funds will be used to cover for the program cost itself, food, tuition, travel within the countries, and international airfare. I will need to pay before the program begin, before the middle of May 2020. 
I do not want my parents to worry about this issue, let alone that I will be away for quite some time. I would like to make them proud of all of this.
I will greatly appreciate whatever help I can receive. I may even become your nurse one day and you will be grateful for the experiences that I obtained that will make me your exceptional nurse! Thank you for your support!
