My Croatian Volunteer Adventure!
My Travel Story
Passion:
I am a Resident Advisor at WSU. This means I help freshmen living in the dorms with all sorts of issues. I recently put up a bulletin board about passion. I realized that everyone has passions, but most people don't do anything about it. I love the healthcare system. I currently work at a nursing home as a Certified Nursing Assistant to pay tuition. But I also love nature. Nature is majestic and calm, but thrilling and everchanging at the same time.
I want to experience life to the fullest. One day, when I make enough money I want to give back to my community and support nature. Although I don't have much money to give right now, I have time.
I want to travel and experience different cultures and places. I want to swim with sharks and eat unusual food. I grew up in a small town, but my aspirations are anything but small.
I know I can't change the world in my 2-week trip. But, I can help where I am needed and put forth a little bit of effort. Like in any relationship, it's not about the grand gestures, it's about the small day-to-day choices.
Please, help me learn and grow, and help where I can, while I can.

Closing Door On Marching Band, Opening Door To Croatia!
Took the field for the last time recently. So sad to have to give up the marching band, but I am excited for things to come.
Croatia, then nursing school.
