My Travel Story

I would humbly ask people to donate as employment opportunities are quite slim in South Africa.

I am very passionate about Tech and I can't seem to find a foot or a chance in the market currently. As a black woman from a disadvantaged background I honestly just need a chance to prove myself which is something I have not yet received so far in my career, a chance to prove myself.

This will make so much difference to my family that is looking at me for a breakthrough, because according to them I went to school, why can't I take them out of poverty? Also there are many people that are scared to take a leap of faith and seek employment outside South Africa. So if I can come with a testimony that I had no money but I managed to get a job outside South Africa people would consider taking that chance.

I chose UK because I feel like it is the most welcoming place. There are lot of African people residing in UK and I would not like to reside in a place where I would feel secluded much.

What makes this meaningful for me is the fact that I am coming from a very disadvantaged background in deep rurals, I tried taking a chance in a big city which is Cape Town and the furthest I could go is acquiring skills. So going to UK would be like a big thing to me, it would validate so much about my abilities and also motivate me to keep going and to not fear taking risks and chances.
