Hi! My name is Emily and I'm an 8th grader who is in Varsity Band at my middle school and in 1st chair in my sax section. I started playing in 6th grade because it was one of the few electives available in my school at the time.  The instrument that chose me was the Alto Saxophone.  Since picking up the sax, my mom moved me to a bigger school so I could have a better musical education. I've fallen in love with playing and now am planning on continuing this musical path. A wonderful travel experience has been made available to me at my school and I would love to participate. 

I would love to travel and experience different cultures and places so I can use these experiences to help me broaden my musical background.

Please help me reach my goal of traveling abroad and exploring different countries and cultures! I plan on taking what I learn and use newfound knowledge to help me develop into a better human being while using the knowledge to develop my musical path for college(UNT: fingers crossed) and life. 

This trip means a lot to me. I would be the first in my immediate family (me and my mom) to travel outside of Texas. My mom is a single parent who can't afford to send me on her own, so I'm asking for help. I would love to experience these two countries and have the opportunity to have new adventures. 

This trip is 11 days traveling to cities like Seoul, Busan, and Tokyo while exploring 27 different attractions between both countries. 

Your help in donating to my fundraiser will help me pay for airfare, transportation, hotels, regional meals, daily educational activities, local attractions, and so much more!

The benefits of this experience will provide me with high school credit, college scholarships assistance, while broadening my education in cultures other than my own. I plan on making this experience as part of my summer time educational journey throughout my formative years in middle school and even continuing through college if possible.
