My Travel Story

I will be climbing Mount Kenya on Monday 29th May (nearly £17,000 ft)  Our group will all be donating £1,000  to the Africa Adventures Foundation as part of our contract.(Mount Kenya Charity Challenge 2017).The total cost of my week in Africa including flights/ transfers/ accomodatatiion /equipment / insurance / vaccinations and the £1000 for charity is £3,105. I am hoping to raise £1,000 to donate for charity work and fund the rest myself. The "Programme Fee" of £1,000 which you will see on my cost calculator goes directly to the African Adventures Foundation  which will be used towards the construction of desperately needed new classrooms at schools in Ghana, Kenya and Zanzibar.It will also help to create feeding programmes for children living in Africa whose only meal a day comes from the projects.

I hope that my contacts friends and family will support me to succesfully complete this fundraising project.I will keep you all updated on my progress and you will receive many pictures of  the Mount Kenya Charity Challenge. Thank you for your support!

    Thank you to all my friends contacts and family for all your donations. I have raised 76% of my target. On Sunday I will be visiting some of the projects in Kenya that have been funded by the African Adventures team and bringing some gifts for the children. The climb starts on Monday................
