My Travel Story

First off, thank you to anyone who takes the time to check out this campaign. I really do appreciate it. 

So, why New Orleans? Well, I've been dreaming of visiting since I was a teen. New Orleans better known as the Crescent City is a really cool place, imo. A city steeped in history, tragedy and magic. Honestly, I've haven't been on a vacation since my early 20s and that was just visiting a neighboring state. I was raised by my grandmother and really never had money to splurge. Even now working a full time 40 hour job...my money goes mostly towards bills and rent. Not enough left over to do much else. It would be nice to travel to a place that I always dreamed of. The culture just calls to me, and I'd like to answer that call. Louisiana isn't completely foreign to me neither. I have family down there that I would like to visit. It's been years. Grandmother moved when I was 12, and nothing even comes close to experiencing an authentic Mardi Gras.

Secondly, Savannah is another location where the scenery enflames the passions of my heart. It's beautiful and has a flair of Southern Gothic charm. I also have a half brother in GA. It be nice to see him again. This trip would be for emotional fulfillment, but also mental health. Stepping out of my fish bowl into different scenery would be amazing. Experiences are valuable to me always.
