My Travel Story

Last January, I went on a medical volunteer trip to Costa Rica. It was an incredible experience making a difference in other people's lives who do not have access to the same luxuries we do, and I knew I wanted to do it again. Recently, I made the decision to volunteer with an organization called IVHQ. In January 2024, I will be going to Arusha, Tanzania for 4 weeks. I will be volunteering in a childcare center providing basic education, interaction and food to children in the community. These centers are often underfunded and under-resourced due to poverty. With this opportunity, I will be able to make a difference in the lives of these young children, as well as partaking in a life-changing experience. 

The costs of this trip include airfare, program fees, travel insurance, and a few others. In addition, I would like to provide donations to the childcare center where I will be volunteering. 

It's a lot to ask, but I am hoping any friends and family will donate to help offset my costs and provide donations to the center. The donations will be used to purchase needed items/supplies once I am in Tanzania. Thank you for considering to help me give back and live out an amazing opportunity.
