My Travel Story

After graduating from undergrad with honors, with a degree in communications and a minor in spanish, as well as a lengthy events management internship, a journey to Greece and Italy would ignite a transformation. There would be new perspectives woven into the fabric of my life. In Greece, I would walk through the ancient ruins of Athens, feeling the weight of history beneath my feet. The Parthenon would inspire me to think beyond the present, urging me to embrace my potential in a world much older than I am. The sun-kissed islands, with their serene beauty, would teach me the value of stillness and reflection, offering a chance to reconnect with myself before embarking on the next chapter.

Italy, with its art, architecture, and cuisine, would open my eyes to the richness of culture and creativity. Strolling through the galleries of Florence, I'd see not just masterpieces but the profound impact of human innovation. Venice's canals would remind me of life's ebb and flow, teaching me to embrace change. The passionate energy of Rome would spark a fire in me to pursue my dreams with unwavering determination.

This journey would shape my future, making me bolder, more open-minded, and deeply appreciative of life's complexities. After working 60+ hours a week for many years to support myself through school, alongside scholarships, this trip would celebrate a successful 4 years of hard work. With a renewed sense of self, I'd return ready to navigate the world with confidence, armed with lessons from two of the most inspiring cultures in the world, and take on the adult world as I begin graduate school at OU come August.
