My Travel Story

Greetings everyone! I'm thrilled to share that this August, I'll be embarking on a volunteer journey to Costa Rica. In support of this endeavor, I'm seeking assistance in funding my travel expenses. During my stay in San Jose, Costa Rica, I'll be residing with fellow volunteers in a local resident's home while participating in the Animal Care Project organized by International Volunteer HQ. My primary tasks will involve aiding horse therapy centers and supporting animal welfare initiatives aimed at re-homing abandoned or stray animals. Addressing the challenges posed by abandoned domestic animals is crucial for local communities in Costa Rica. By collaborating with veterinary clinics and animal welfare organizations, I aim to contribute to the rehabilitation and rehoming efforts during my two-week stint. Having been deeply involved in the horse/show community during my youth, I'm particularly excited about the opportunity to work in equine therapy centers. Moreover, I look forward to immersing myself in Costa Rica's rich culture and potentially opening doors for future endeavors. Traveling and experiencing diverse cultures has always been a dream of mine, and I'm eager to check Costa Rica off my list. Any contribution towards my travel expenses would be immensely appreciated.
