My Travel Story

Hello! I'm Hannah and I'm 18 and soon to be graduating high school in June. I'm currently working a part-time job and soon to be getting a second job in the summer to help fund this trip as well. I'm someone whos passionate about learning and getting more exposure to the world via cultures and people. Ever since I was a little kid I've always had a passion for going abroad to learn from different societies and how they function. After my trip, I'm looking into applying to a college/university in South Korea. >> Paramedic school

The cause; I'm raising money to go abroad to Seoul, South Korea for a year and immerse myself in the culture/language. While I'm there I would be working with children's daycares, completing social work, and helping spreading education to younger generations. On top of that, I would be taking extensive Korean language courses every week (I'm hoping to either live in Seoul one day or teach English there after my college education) to further my fluency in the language. I plan to document my travels via Youtube channel that I'm setting up before I leave!

Why so much money? The program fee alone is about $10K, while I would be getting a little bit of financial help from my parents I am paying for most of it. Housing costs about $7.3K. This doesn't include course materials/enrollment fees or visas, which would bring me up to $19K when everything is said and done.

My goal is to hopefully have my funds, mid-June.
