I'm curious to hear about where you're from, what you do when not studying (e.g., if you're juggling a job along with classes or perhaps you're an avid surfer or runner), and what you're aiming to achieve in college and beyond. Hello! My name is Yamile Fuentes. I am born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. I am 23 years old. I work full time as well as am a full time student. I was in AVID in high school where I learned a lot about different cultures and uniqueness. I have gone to school my whole life. I have always been involved with my community as I am determined to continue my education therefore I will do all that I need in order to succeed and gain better knowledge to become the person I want to be. I spend my days at work or at school. I ride my bike and skateboard a lot as I am currently saving up for a car. When I have a lunch break I like to eat my lunch at the beach and watch the waves. I imagine myself surfing and riding on a boat. I am doing my best in order to stay in school and out of trouble. I have been in Santa Barbara my whole life. I believe that there is always something new to learn everyday. I am currently exploring Universities. I love to dance. I love to do art. I love to be myself. I am beautiful. I am my own person. I do not have a permanent place to live at the moment as I am currently homeless and exploring my options in continuing education. I believe education is key! There is always something to learn. Everyone is beautiful in their own unique way. I do not currently have kids as I am trying to find myself as well as stay in school. Thank you in advance!
